Texas Holdem
Games
A game that is normally played with between 2-10 players. It is a fast
poker game and its rules are easy to learn. Texas Holdem is by far the
most popular game on the internet. This is immediately noticeable by the
amount of Holdem Tables compared to the other online poker games. The
game consists of 4 betting rounds. We explain the basic rules by pointing
out the different steps in the game.
Party Poker

Texas Holdem Games and Tournaments
Step 1: First the Small (1/2 the table lower limit) and Big (table
lower limit) Blind Bet are placed by the first 2 players left of the
dealer.
Step 2: Players are dealt 2 cards (pocket cards) face down and 5
cards (community cards) face down are placed in the middle of the table.
Step 3: The player left of the Big Blind starts the first betting
round. In a betting round a player can fold (quit and accept the loss),
raise (increase the bet), call (equal the last bet made), check (decline
to make the initial bet in a round).
Step 4: Three of the community cards on the table are turned over.
All members share the community cards.
Step 5: The first active member left of the dealer starts the
second betting round.
Step 6: The fourth community card is turned over.
Step 7: Similar as step 5. The third betting round.
Step 8: The final (5th) community is turned over.
Step 9: Similar as step 5 and 7. The final betting round.
Step 10: If more than 1 active remember remains the Showdown
follows. The Showdown is simply the showing of all cards to figure out
the winning poker hand.
